The role of health care in the 21st century is changing. A larger part of the practice of the medicine in the future will be directed toward the promotion of healthy lifestyles. Memorial Hospital Foundation exists to provide direction and financial support for activities which promote health and wellness in our rural community.

Donations to the Memorial Hospital Foundation may be given in honor or in memory and may be designated in the following funds. Click on any fund below to view more information about it and find out how to contribute . . .

Funds of the Foundation:
 
Ambulance Service Fund
Provides equipment for two express purposes: Emergency Medical Service (EMS) to be used for patient services and education and/or awareness of EMS in the community.

Arbor Fund
Provides unbudgeted capital equipment and/or supplies used for patient services.

Cardiac Rehab Scholarship Fund
Provides funds for uninsured or under-insured patients in need of Rehab services.

Chapel Fund
For the purpose of refurbishing/replacing furnishings for the Chapel.

Charitable Services Fund
Provides assistance in purchasing prescription drugs for recently discharged patients, on an emergency basis, in need of financial help.

Community Education Fund
Provides means to bring health and wellness programs into our community and schools through programs such as PROJECT FIT AMERICA and health Friends.

Diabetes Education Fund
Provides educational materials and programs for diabetic patients and families.

Employee Crisis Fund
Provides aid to Memorial Hospital Employees during a financial crisis.

Endowment Fund
Income on investment supports several projects and new programs.

Equipment/Technology Improvement Fund
Enables the purchase of medical equipment or technology that supports the general purpose and services of Memorial Hospital.

George W. Poor Family Scholarship Fund
Provides employees of Memorial Hospital with means for further education.

Logansport Dialysis Center Fund
Assists patients in need of medical supplies, prescription drugs, and transportation to the Center.

Non-Restrictive Fund
Provides assistance wherever the need is the greatest, as directed by the MHF board.

Walking Trail Fund
Provides funds for land acquisition and property development of the River Bluff Trail and the Hervey Preserve.

Major events sponsored by the Foundation include an annual golf tournament, held each summer (June) at Dykeman Park with proceeds disbursed to funds where need is greatest.
