Who Volunteers Logansport Memorial Hospital volunteers come from all walks of life and backgrounds. Our volunteers are retired adults, moms and dads, students and professionals. We expect our volunteers to be positive, friendly, caring and dependable. Volunteers must be willing to work a regular schedule. We also require volunteers to complete an employee health assessment, adhere to our volunteer policies and procedures and read and agree to a confidentiality code.

Upon completing the interview process and being accepted as a volunteer, all new volunteers will be required to meet Logansport Memorial Hospital employment screens. Prior to starting, Logansport Memorial Hospital provides orientation and specific training for effective performance of assignments. Volunteers also attend quarterly training sessions. Volunteers are expected to adhere to all policies by the Volunteer Services Department and Logansport Memorial Hospital.
