 The Mary Dykeman Guild of Logansport Memorial Hospital celebrated its 50th anniversary with a luncheon for Guild members at the hospital on May 20. Mayor Mike Fincher declared May 20 as Mary Dykeman Guild Day in honor of Guild’s effect on this community in its 50 year history. Mary Stuart of the Cass County Historical Society researched the history of Mary Dykeman and brought her to life through costume and story.
At the same luncheon, new officers of the Mary Dykeman Guild were installed for the coming year. Since it was established in 1959, the Mary Dykeman Guild has supported Memorial Hospital through various fundraising events and by operating the Gift Shop in the hospital lobby.
