Logansport Memorial Hospital clarifies visitor restrictions in obstetrics
In the Family Birth Center at Logansport Memorial Hospital, visitors are limited to two adults only during the entire stay of the mother and baby. These adults must not be experiencing any flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, sore throat, stuffy nose, diarrhea, vomiting or body aches. The purpose of this restriction is to protect the mother and baby and limit the spread of H1N1 flu. Since children are most susceptible to the flu, for their protection and that of our patients and visitors, children may not be allowed to visit at this time. Thank you for your help in limiting the spread of infection.
