Paying medical bills can be stressful. To help patients address concerns, Logansport Memorial Hospital’s financial counselors are committed to helping you get the answers you need.

We’re ready to address any issue that you may have with your statement or invoice, from answering questions on your bill to directing you to the proper assistance in case of financial hardship.

Insurance & paying your bill

Be prepared to provide your health insurance information prior to or at the time of service. Logansport Memorial Hospital will file claim(s) on your behalf according to the financial agreement you’ll make with us.

If you have questions about your coverage, call your health insurance company or read your insurance card, policy, and other resources provided online. If your employer provides your health insurance, your employer’s benefits office may be able to answer your questions.

After treatment, you may receive several bills for medical care from Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Your hospital bill will not include the fees of your physician(s) or consulting physician(s). Charges for professional services provided by radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, emergency room technicians, and ambulance staff are also not included on your hospital bill. These costs are billed directly.

Hospital bill payments

Logansport Memorial Hospital requires financial arrangements to be in place at the time of service.

Depending on your insurance benefits, the amount collected during your visit for co-payments and/or co-insurance may be based on estimated charges. It is your responsibility to provide the correct insurance information.

Payment options include:

  • Cash, checks, and money orders
  • Debit or credit cards, including VISA, Master Card, and Discover
  • Online payments using our easy, secure, and convenient system

Logansport Memorial Hospital’s billing staff makes every effort to ensure your account is up-to-date and that you’re properly billed. Look for a summary statement after a physician visit, discharge from an inpatient stay, or after an outpatient visit.
