Inpatient Services
When you are admitted to Memorial Hospital for treatment, you can trust our staff to provide quality, compassionate care. Since effective treatment depends on an accurate understanding of the reason you are hospitalized, all inpatients receive a comprehensive medical evaluation and appropriate procedures and laboratory tests to form an accurate diagnosis.
Information from the patient, family, referral sources and medical evaluations is combined to form a treatment plan specifically designed for each patient. Our multi-specialty hospital staff will care for you in the hospital and help you plan when you are ready to leave.
You can help reduce infection
Visitors can help reduce the spread of infection by following these guidelines:
-
Clean your hands often by using the alcohol hand rub located in every patient room or by washing your hands with soap and water for at least 15 seconds.
-
Do not visit if you have a cough, cold or other signs of illness. If you must visit, clean your hands before your visit and ask a staff member for a mask.
-
Understand that some patients require isolation. You may be asked to wear gloves, a gown and/or a mask when visiting.
