Perry Gay, MBA
President and Chief Executive Officer

Responsibilities: Perry holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Leo University in St. Leo, Florida. He leads Logansport Memorial Hospital’s commitment to quality and customer service, and advocates at the state and national level for improvements in healthcare.
All other members of executive leadership work together to assist the President and Chief Executive Officer as well as the Board of Trustees in the development, formulation, and implementation of hospital strategic plans. Part of serving on the organization’s senior leadership team enables each of the following individuals to provide direct input on the hospital’s organizational structure that is related to their specific areas of expertise, ensuring that plans and decisions are collaborative and multi-disciplinary.
Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities: The Chief Financial Officer oversees the financial operations, Compliance and financial strategies for Logansport Memorial Hospital and Physician Network.
Departments: Accounting and Finance, Budget, Patient Financial Services, Patient Access (including Registration, Centralized Scheduling, and Switchboard), Medical Necessity, Medical Records, Medical Transcription, Interpreter/Translation Services, Risk/Compliance, Managed Care Contracting, and Materials Management
Beth Jump, RN
Chief Information Officer
Tenure: Since 1990
Responsibilities: The Chief Information Officer oversees the management of all hospital information functions, including communications systems.
Departments: Telecommunications, Information Systems, Healthy Companies (Occupational Medicine), Community Pharmacy, Medical Staff Services, Peer Review, Anti-Coagulation Clinic, and Meaningful Use initiatives
Tara McVay, RN, BSN
Chief Nursing Officer
Tenure: Since 1997
Responsibilities: The Chief Nursing Officer oversees various nursing-related patient care divisions within the hospital while managing, directing, planning, and coordinating the functions and activities within those assigned areas. Other responsibilities include oversight and administration of specific patient care programs and services.
Departments: Nursing Services (Medical/Surgical, ICU, OB/Newborn, Surgery, Emergency Department), Case Management, Infection Prevention, Hospitalist Program, Inpatient Pharmacy, Diabetic Education, Resource Coordinators
Vice-President of Ancillary Services
Tenure: Since 1987
Responsibilities: The Vice-President of Ancillary Services oversees and supports all operations of various departments that provide support services for hospital patients.
Departments: Cardiopulmonary Services, Laboratory Services (in partnership with the South Bend Medical Foundation), Medical Imaging Services, Inpatient/Outpatient Therapy Services, Logansport Memorial Regional Cancer Center
Vice-President of Facility Operations
Tenure: Since 2004
Responsibilities: The Vice-President of Facility Operations oversees the construction, maintenance, and daily operation of the buildings and grounds at Logansport Memorial Hospital, including the River Bluff Trail and the Hervey Preserve.
Departments: Dietary Services (Dietitians, Nutritional Services, Café Express), Plant Engineering, Environmental Services, Clinical Engineering, Security / Safety / Hazmat, Facility Storage and Retention, AV Scheduling and Storage, CSS / Linen
Vice-President of Human Resources
Tenure: Since 1999
Responsibilities: The Vice-President of Human Resources is responsible for staff recruitment, retention, and development, as well as Human Resource policy administration.

Vice-President of the Physician Network
Tenure: Since 1989
Responsibilities: The Vice-President of the Physician Network oversees the medical practices in the Logansport Memorial Physician Network (LMPN), and the physicians employed by LMPN. Tracking and reporting on quality initiatives and measures is also part of the responsibilities assigned to the Vice-President of the Physician Network.

Vice-President of Planning and Development
Tenure: Since 2006
Responsibilities: The Vice-President of Planning and Development oversees and manages all aspects of project development and strategic planning. Other responsibilities include acting as a community liaison representing LMH and promoting community health and wellness initiatives. Hospital marketing and grant development/administration is also managed by the VP of Planning and Development.
