Physician Recruitment

Logansport Memorial Hospital has a great deal to offer physicians who choose to establish practice in Cass County and the surrounding areas of north central Indiana. As a thriving community hospital and regional medical center, Logansport Memorial Hospital provides a wide range of services. Hospital services include acute inpatient services such as medical, surgical, CICU, obstetrics and inpatient support. Outpatient services consist of a wide-range of surgery, including general, GYN, ENT, orthopedic, podiatry and ophthalmology. Other services include radiology, laboratory, pathology, physical, occupational and speech therapy, cardiopulmonary and patient/disease education.

Our facilities are attractive, spacious, and inviting. We have an outstanding reputation. We also offer physicians opportunities for hospital involvement and professional development.

We value the medical expertise of the physicians who serve this community. This sentiment is widely shared by patients who appreciate personalized attention to their health care needs. One of the most rewarding aspects of practicing here is the pleasure of getting to know your patients.

From a quality-of-life perspective, Cass County is a place where fresh air, green meadows and miles of open space create the setting for a growing, thriving community. Our family-oriented community enjoys good schools and a variety of activities.  In 2004, LMH opened the River Bluff Trail. The trail features a handicap-accessible paved trail and canoe/kayak launch, three bridges, picnic area, rest stops, entrances and parking at both ends. With more than 4000 users per week, the trail has rapidly become a Cass County destination for health, leisure and recreational activities, including multiple running events and many school functions.

Since that time, the initiative has continued to grow and LMH has opened the Hervey Preserve, a 35-acre nature preserve which incorporates a labyrinth and 1.1 mile crushed stone trail and recently accepted an 80-acre tract of land (Huston Property) which will be developed into a central park for the community. The Huston Property will include a variety of sports venues (softball, soccer, etc), an amphitheatre, Spray Park and additional walking trails which will connect the three land masses together.

We invite you to take a closer look at LMH. Tour the hospital. Talk with leadership staff and physicians who practice here. We are proud to call Cass County our home and hope that you will consider it too.
