FAQs

Q. How can I get an itemized bill?
A. Please call one of our financial counselors at (574) 753-1371 or billing support at (574) 753-1752.

Q. What is an “EOB”?
A. “EOB” stands for an explanation of benefits. It is not a bill. Rather, it is a document that explains what your health insurance policy covers.

Q. Why doesn’t my health insurance policy cover everything?
A. Not all health insurance policies are the same. A customer service representative from your insurance company can explain in detail what treatments and services are covered by your policy.

Q. Why do I have to give my health insurance policy information more than once?
A.
Although this may seem repetitive, we ask for your health insurance policy information to make sure we have your most up-to-date personal information and coverage details to ensure billing goes smoothly.

Q. If I am not asked about my health insurance, should I still give it?
A.
Absolutely! For the hospital to bill appropriately, we need your correct insurance information.
