This technology is the standard test for all women who make appointments for their annual screening mammograms at LMH. 3D mammography (also known as breast tomosynthesis) is clinically proven to significantly increase the detection of breast cancers, while simultaneously decreasing the number of women asked to return for additional testing. This type of 3D mammogram allows doctors to examine your breast tissue layer by layer. The Logansport Memorial Hospital Foundation is proud to provide funds for uninsured or under-insured Cass County women to receive needed mammograms. Through the generosity of individual and community donors as well as proceeds from our annual River Bluff Run, women with financial need can still receive critical breast cancer screenings.
Breast Cancer
At the Breast Center, you will meet with expert clinicians who work with the latest technologies, seeking to find cancer early when it is most treatable. You will have the opportunity to sit down with your physician and discuss your test results. When needed, you will receive referrals to resources and specialists quickly for additional treatment and care.
