Cancer care designed for healing
Here, you’ll never feel like you’re just another number. Our patients are our friends and family—next-door neighbors, people we know from church, and sometimes even our coworkers.
We really care, and that’s what makes us different. With flexible scheduling and other comprehensive services to make your patient journey easier, we’ll make your healing process as convenient and comfortable as possible.
Close-to-home services
You shouldn’t have to travel far to get the best adult cancer care.
With radiation oncology services and infusion therapy services available in one central location, the Cancer Care Center at Logansport Memorial Hospital provides the best of both worlds: innovative, big city expertise in a friendly small-town setting.
Not only did they heal me, they comforted me at the same time. I loved that about my experience at Logansport Memorial.
The Cancer Care Center at Logansport Memorial Hospital
At our new, modern facility, you can navigate every part of your cancer treatment, all from one convenient location.
Surgery
Our board-certified surgical team uses the latest surgical techniques to remove cancerous tissue, leading to smaller incisions, less discomfort, and faster recovery.
Stereotactic Radiotherapy
This non-invasive radiation therapy allows our experts to deliver treatment more accurately to the affected areas. It uses 3D imaging to target high doses of radiation with sub-millimeter accuracy to the affected area with minimal impact on the surrounding healthy tissue.
Chemotherapy
Some cancer treatment plans require chemotherapy, including IV treatments, injections, and blood transfusions. Our infusion care is delivered by specially-trained oncology nurses who strive to make patients as comfortable as possible.
Radiation oncology
We use a state-of-the-art linear accelerator to deliver precise doses of radiation with pinpoint accuracy, targeting cancer cells without affecting your healthy tissue.
PET/CT scans
Logansport Memorial Hospital offers PET/CT scans on-site. This advanced imaging procedure combines two enhanced techniques into one to detect the extent and potential spread of cancer in your body.
