Though referrals from a primary care physician are most common, patients can make a self-referral by calling the office. Services are by appointment only. Please note that you must be established with a primary care provider before your initial appointment at the Pain Management Center.
Upon referral to the Pain Management Center, a nurse will take a thorough history of your health. Then, you will be examined by the provider and after your history and physical exam have been reviewed, the provider will determine an individualized care plan. In some cases, additional diagnostic testing may be needed, including X-rays, CAT scans, MRI’s, nerve/muscle studies, etc.
