At Logansport Memorial Hospital, we provide the highest level of personalized care to expecting families. Our Family Birth Center has five labor, delivery, and recovery rooms; a cesarean-section suite; ten private, spacious postpartum suites; and a Level II nursery for babies who may need a little extra attention. Our staff also offers postpartum resources and support to new moms after childbirth during their newborn’s first year.
Serving Cass County and the surrounding communities, our experienced, compassionate maternity care staff provides high-quality, cost-effective maternal and neonatal services in a supportive, family-centered environment.

Hospital stay amenities
During your hospital stay, we create a home-like atmosphere to make you and your family as comfortable as possible. During your stay, you’ll enjoy many conveniences, including fast WiFi, room service meals (as well as snacks and drinks), a private bathroom, and a fold-out sofa.
We also provide:
- Breastfeeding guidance: Get information and support for you and your newborn during your hospital stay and after you return home from lactation specialists.
- Personalized follow-up care: We’ll still be there for you once you return home. Get answers to all of your questions regarding the care of your baby when one of your obstetric nurses gives you a call to see how things are going.
- Keepsake book: Remember your child’s birth and this special day with a copy of On the Night You Were Born, customized with a print your baby’s footprints.

If you decide to breastfeed, our lactation specialist will be here to help you and answer all of your questions.
During your stay, you can use the Family Birth Center’s comfortable room designated for pumping breast milk. We also have supplies on hand if you want to store milk here during your baby’s stay.
