The mission of Better Health of Cass County (BHCC) is to provide coordination and opportunities to improve health and well-being of Cass County residents.

Each year, Logansport Memorial Hospital looks to participate in programs and offer services that uphold our mission, to be your community resource for optimal health. The programs and services that we measure for our calculated community benefit are designed to improve health in our community as a response to recognized community needs.

For 17 years, Logansport Memorial Hospital has operated under the same Aetna contract for hospital reimbursement. In November 2011, Aetna proposed a reduction in reimbursement rates to Logansport Memorial Hospital. 

The Indiana Department of Health issued the 2010 Indiana Medical Error Report on November 28, 2011. This is the fifth annual report and public release. Reporting requirements beginning in 2009 were different than in 2008 and earlier years.
