Temporary changes to visitor policies, available services, bill pay, lab draws, and prescriptions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the protection and safety of our patients, our staff, and our community, we have restricted visitation and access to Logansport Memorial Hospital, effective immediately until further notice:
To prepare for a possible influx of patients and to limit potential exposure to patients and staff, LMH has canceled, restricted, or postponed the following services until further notice:
Our providers and surgeons will consult and determine on a case-by-case basis whether appointments, surgeries, and procedures should take place or be postponed for patients. This has not changed from our initial restriction on elective and non-emergent surgeries.
We will continue to schedule and treat patients to minimize any potential negative impacts on the patient’s overall health. It is up to the physician to decide if canceling or postponing a surgery or appointment will have a negative impact on the patient’s overall health.
Patients impacted by cancellations or rescheduling of appointments will be contacted by LMH staff directly.
During this time of zero visitors, patients are being asked to pay their hospital bills in one of three ways:
During this time of zero visitors, patients who utilize the outpatient lab at Medical Office Building East will be redirected to the Suite 120 Lobby Lab in the main hospital.
The outpatient lab at MOB East is closed at this time. Suite 120 will be the designated lab draw location available Monday–Friday from 6 am – 5:30 pm. On Saturdays, lab draw services will be available in Healthy Companies from 7 am – 12 noon, conveniently located right next to the Emergency Department.
Logansport Memorial Hospital’s Community Pharmacy is still available to fill your medications and prescriptions in this time of social distancing and zero visitation. Patients and the community can take advantage of two convenient ways to continue receiving your necessary prescriptions and medications from us:
Please call Community Pharmacy at (574) 732-0418 for additional information or to use one of these options for you and your family.
